Parachute Review: Is Its Premium Bedding Worth It in 2026?

Parachute sells some of the best-looking bedding online, with free shipping on every order, but a shorter return window, a return fee and durability complaints make the high prices harder to justify.

Sixty-second verdict

  • The Percale Sheet Set, at $269 for a white Queen, is the most sensible way into Parachute.
  • Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum, which is unusual among premium bedding brands.
  • Most items can be returned within 60 days, but mail and drop-off returns cost $8 unless you return in a store or take store credit.
  • We found no written product warranty, and defects should be reported within seven days of delivery.
  • Trustpilot rates Parachute 1.6 out of 5, with durability complaints the most common theme, though the company does reply to most negative reviews.

The Beacon Score

57/100

Handsome, well-made basics at prices that assume they last; the short return window, absent warranty and wear complaints suggest otherwise.

What we'd buy

Pick 01

Percale Sheet Set $269

Crisp Egyptian cotton percale and Parachute’s most approachable sheet set.

The Percale set is 100 percent long-staple Egyptian cotton, made in Portugal and OEKO-TEX certified, with a fitted sheet, top sheet and pillowcases. Parachute garment-washes it for a softer, lived-in look and says it avoids synthetic softening finishes, so it should soften further with washing. Full and Queen sets come with standard pillowcases, which look small on king pillows. It costs noticeably more than comparable percale from Brooklinen, and you are paying in part for the palette.

Best for
Hot sleepers who want a relaxed, matte look
Weak spot
Pricey next to similar percale elsewhere
See it at Parachute
Pick 02

Linen Sheet Set $389

The set that made Parachute’s name, in garment-dyed European flax.

Parachute’s linen is 100 percent European flax at 175 GSM, garment dyed and washed to soften the fibers, and OEKO-TEX certified. It is the look most people picture when they think of the brand: rumpled, matte and breathable for warm climates. It is also the most expensive way to make a bed here, and one recent Trustpilot reviewer reported a large tear after washing and drying. Expect linen to shed lint early on and to feel coarser than cotton at first.

Best for
Warm bedrooms and a relaxed, rumpled look
Weak spot
Costly, and some reports of tearing
See it at Parachute
Pick 03

Brushed Cotton Sheet Set $279

A soft, flannel-adjacent cotton for people who find percale too crisp.

Brushed Cotton keeps a percale weave but is brushed and then garment washed, which Parachute compares to a favorite lived-in shirt. It is a sensible middle ground for cold sleepers who do not want the weight or pilling of true flannel. Brushing raises the fiber surface, so it will sleep warmer than plain percale and may not suit hot sleepers in summer. A white Queen set costs a little more than the plain percale.

Best for
Cool sleepers who want softness without flannel
Weak spot
Too warm for hot sleepers

Pick 04

Soft Rib Towels Price varies by size

Long-staple Turkish cotton with a ribbed texture designed to dry faster.

Soft Rib towels are 100 percent long-staple Turkish cotton with a sculpted rib that Parachute says speeds drying. They are sold individually rather than in sets, with a bath towel at $59 and a bath sheet at $89, so outfitting a bathroom adds up quickly. The ribbed surface feels less plush than classic terry, which some people prefer and others do not. Exchanges are limited to the same product in another color, and only at Happy Returns bars or by mail.

Best for
Bathrooms where towels need to dry quickly
Weak spot
Sold singly, so sets get expensive

Pick 05

Eco Mattress $2,650

A foam-free hybrid of wool, organic cotton and pocketed coils, made in the USA.

The Eco Mattress is built from New Zealand wool, organic cotton and zoned pocketed coils, firmer in the middle and softer at the head and feet. It is made in the USA and has no foam at all, which is the selling point. It gets a 100-night trial with free pickup, but we could not find a warranty on the product or policy pages, which is a serious gap at this price. Shipping cannot be expedited, and Parachute stores display it but do not stock it.

Best for
Shoppers who specifically want a foam-free bed
Weak spot
No written warranty we could find

Organic Cloud Cotton Quilt

The name leads with organic cotton, but only the shell is organic; the fill is polyester. A Full/Queen lists at $299, and a recent Trustpilot reviewer said theirs was fraying all over after a month. For the money you can buy a down-alternative comforter and a cotton duvet cover and wash the cover separately.

Down Side Sleeper Pillow

At $160 for a standard pillow, this sits well above Brooklinen’s Down Pillow. Parachute does not accept pillows at Happy Returns bars, so a return means the $8 mail-in fee or a trip to a store. The chambered down-and-feather design is clever, but at this price we would want a longer trial.

Parachute versus two rivals

Two brands a shopper is likely to be weighing at the same time. Words only; the numbers change too often to print.

Questions readers ask

Does Parachute charge for returns?

Mail-in returns and drop-offs at Happy Returns locations cost a flat $8, deducted from the refund. Returns in a Parachute store, and returns for store credit, are free. Duvet inserts, pillows, mattress pads, feather beds, rugs and oversized quilts cannot go to Happy Returns bars because of their size.

How long do I have to cancel a Parachute order?

Not long, and the site disagrees with itself. The FAQ gives a 30-minute window during weekday business hours, while the returns page mentions a 24-hour window for final sale items. Treat it as 30 minutes, and know weekend orders cannot be cancelled until Monday.

Does Parachute have a warranty?

We could not find a written warranty on Parachute’s policy pages or the Eco Mattress page. The FAQ asks customers to report defects within seven days of receipt with photos. Several Trustpilot reviewers say later wear problems were dismissed as normal wear and tear.

When does Parachute have sales?

Parachute’s FAQ says it typically runs two sales a year, around Memorial Day and Black Friday to Cyber Monday, alongside occasional bundle discounts such as reduced prices on linen sets. Given the prices, waiting for one of those windows makes sense.

The bottom line

Parachute makes beautiful bedding, and the percale and linen sets are well specified. The trouble is everything around the price: sixty days to decide, an $8 return fee, no written warranty we could find, and a steady stream of complaints about items wearing out early. Buy in a store if you can, during one of its twice-yearly sales, and wash and inspect everything well inside the return window.
